Q. What happens at the trial and how long will it last?

 

I will give a full consultation about your overall desired style. We will discuss your dress and any pictures of hairstyles that you like. I will then create your wedding hairstyle. You may wish to try a couple of different looks. If you already have your veil, tiara, hair accessories or clip-in hair extensions please bring them with you.

Q. Do you do makeup as well as hair?

 

I specialise in hair only, however I can recommend a few bridal makeup artists who I regularly work with.

 

Q. How long will the hair take on the wedding day?

 

Allow approximately one hour for the Bride and 30-45 minutes for other members of the wedding party. Times may vary depending on the hair length and styles chosen. More accurate timings will be calculated after the trial.

 

Q. What if I'm not happy with my trial?

 

There is no rush, so take as long as you like to get the look that you want. 

You are not committed to booking your wedding day hair appointment before you have a trial run.

You only pay a deposit for your wedding day if you are 100% happy with my work.

 

Q. How do I book you?

 

You can phone me, email me or fill in my contact form to discuss your requirements.

I take a £30 booking fee. This fee will be taken off your trial price.

On receipt of the booking fee I will pencil in your wedding date and reserve it for you up until your trial.

The booking fee can be paid via bank transfer. I will give payment details on request.

A conformation email will be sent on receipt of the booking fee.

Within 10 days of your trial a 50% deposit is require to secure the date. All deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from your final bill.

 

 

Q. How and when should payment be made?

The remaining cost of the trial is payable on the day of your trial and the agreed remaining balance is payable 14 days prior to the wedding day.

 

Q. What happens if you are ill on my wedding day?

 

In the unlikely event that this should happen, I have a network of hairstylists that I am in regular contact with. So I should be able to find a hairstylist to step in and take my place. In the trial I take detailed notes and photos which I would pass over to the substitute stylist. However if for any reason this is not possible you will receive a full refund including your deposit.

 

Q. Which areas do you cover?

 

I cover Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex and Surrey. If your county is not listed please enquire as I may be able to travel to you. I am based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.   

 

Q. Do you charge mileage?

 

The first 10 miles from where I am based in Rickmansworth are FREE . Anywhere outside of this 10 mile radius will be charged at 60 pence per mile round trip.
